Yeah sure I would  be happy just being a photographer, but seriously what makes my job super special { and some days it certainly doesn’t feel like I should call it a ‘job’ because it brings me so much joy  } is the couples I get to meet and photograph along the way. Seriously I have been very fortunate in my photography career to have such wonderful couples come through my doors and allow me to just do my thing with very little input from them, if any, so in most cases the creative vision is mine with influences from the surroundings and how the couple interact with each other – which is the most important for couples portraits.  Nothing makes me happier than pleasing my clients with photos they will treasure now and in the future, and I just had to share what one of my groom’s said to me in a post of Facebook after I told him I booked a wedding after the couple fell in love with David & Kaylene’s wedding photos from their marriage in Byron Bay …

“How cool is that! I’ll look forward to seeing their wedding photos too in the near future! I still find myself checking your blog as you update it with you current wedding photos, & we are already married! Must be a sign of a good photographer if you’re keeping the clients interest even after they have already had their photos taken!!“

Boots Photography has some very exciting news … we just found out our Carolyn & Ben wedding book just won Gold in the Digital Printing – Non Inkjet category at the 2011 Printing Industry Craftsmanship Awards {PICA}. … I’m really happy with the other ones and the pictures of the children are really good. I loved the pictures and so did Carlos and we can’t wait to see the rest of them. I especially love the one at the chapel in black and white, the cave pictures and the ones outside the church. I am interested to see how the sunglass shots ended up. I also really love the booth shots. You are right, we really do have a lot of variety. I also think the shot of me hugging Carlos from behind at the church is fab. We both really appreciate the amazing job that you have done.

Not to be pushy but when do you think the other shots will be available? Now that we have had taste we want more……..
