Sunshine Coast Wedding Photography | SurfAir on Marcoola Beach | Zahna + Adam

Friday 15th October 2010 was a dismal day weather wise, but I got to photograph the gorgeous couple Zahna + Adam at SurfAir on Marcoola Beach on the Sunshine Coast and I feel as if though the sun was shining very bright ! If you got to meet this couple and their wonderful families, then you would understand.

The day started with some driver reversing into my car and after a quick panel job to get me on the road, as I drove up to the Sunshine Coast to photograph Zahna + Adam, even though the winds were blowing a gale, I was hoping it just didn’t rain – luckily the rain held off but the wind was wild when we eventually made our way to the Point Arkwright lookout for the location shoot.

Let me take you back to arriving at SurfAir and catching up with Zahna, the bridal party and her family and seeing the first glimpse of her stunning dress and OMG shoes!! Zahna truly looked like a princess. Then a quick whiz over to the North Tower to check-in with Adam, the boys and family for some photos on the rooftop after a tiny bit of rain.

WOW what an emotional ceremony – nearly had me in tears but the professional in me managed to just hold them back because I wanted to make sure I caught those precious memories on camera. As beautiful as these two are on the outside, equally as beautiful people on the inside and I feel very lucky to have been apart of their wedding day – and it all made sense after getting to meet the wonderful group of family and friends that surround this couple which was also made very obvious during the sincere and funny speeches.

There definitely was never a dull moment at this wedding, and the reception was no exception.  From an eclectic mix of music and the crazy moves on the dance floor that got my toes tapping too. Seeing these guys together you just know they are going to grow old together – best of wishes Zahna + Adam.  Looking forward to catching up when you return from your honeymoon :-)
